CSA

The first CSA shares will be delivered on Wednesday, June 12th. One note, not all CSA members will pick up the first week of June. Our bi-weekly members will be split into two groups to help our farm stabilize production from week to week.

As you may notice, the schedule for 2013 is a bit different from last year. In an effort to improve our service and the quality of your experience, we have decided not to return to North Market. We apologize for any inconvenience.

SUPPLEMENTS

As you know, Wayward Seed has been working cooperatively with several local producers to bring supplements to your CSA.

We are proud to offer Cafe Brioso artisan-roasted coffees, roasted in-store by owner-roastmaster Jeff Davis. You may purchase coffee by the pound or half-pound, whole bean or ground, regular or decaf for $12.00 per pound. You may order weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed, but please note that orders for the following week must be received by 11pm on Saturday.

Given the challenges of hauling milk in warm (okay, hot!) temperatures, we have decided to cease delivery of Snowville Creamery. In addition, Snowville products are far more widely available than ever before. And because Shagbark products were delivered with Snowville products, we will no longer have these available.

So, you have two tasks–first, to decide which pick up location best suits your needs (drop point OR market) and second, to decide if your CSA needs to include our coffee supplement. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us via phone or email.

Need technical help? Follow these simple instructions for choosing a pick up location:

1. Login to CSAware.

2. Click “View/Modify Subscription.”

3. Click “Modify.”

4. Select a location from the drop down menu.

5. Click “Save Changes.”

Until next week…
